DTF gang sheet pricing is visible in the online Gang Sheet Builder — no account required to see rates. Pricing is based on the total linear feet of your custom DTF transfer gang sheet, and your total updates in real time as you add designs, sizes, and quantities. You'll need to create an account before placing an order so your artwork, order history, and tracking information are saved in one place.

You may only upload and print DTF artwork you own or have the rights to reproduce. By placing a custom DTF transfer order, you confirm you have permission to print the files submitted.
There's no strict file-size limit, but each DTF artwork file must fit within 22-inch-wide film. Your total gang sheet length is calculated automatically based on how your designs, sizes, and quantities are arranged in the builder.
We print your DTF artwork as uploaded, so print-ready PNG files work best. If something looks off, we'll reach out before printing whenever possible. For best results, upload high-resolution artwork with a transparent background.
DPI means dots per inch. For crisp custom DTF transfers, upload artwork at 300 DPI at the exact size you want it printed. Low-resolution files may print blurry or pixelated.
We recommend high-resolution PNG files with transparent backgrounds for DTF artwork. Transparent PNG files help your custom DTF transfers print cleanly without unwanted boxes or backgrounds.
Your custom DTF transfers arrive rolled and protected, ready to cut apart and heat press onto shirts, hoodies, totes, and other compatible blanks.
Most print-ready DTF transfer orders ship same or next business day. Orders placed before 12 PM EST ship same business day whenever artwork is ready and no file issues need to be fixed. Fast DTF gang sheet printing is kind of our thing.
After you place a custom DTF transfer order, you'll get order updates and tracking information as your job moves from upload → print → shipment, so you always know what's happening with your gang sheet.

No setup fees. Ever. You can order full-color custom DTF transfers with no screen charges, no color setup fees, and no traditional print minimums.
DTF printing price is based on total billable linear feet in the Gang Sheet Builder. Your custom transfer total updates automatically as you add designs, sizes, and quantities.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full-color heat press transfers printed on film and applied to garments with a commercial heat press. They are vibrant, durable, and ideal for custom shirts, short runs, events, small business apparel, and production orders.
A DTF gang sheet is a single sheet or roll of DTF transfer film that contains multiple designs arranged together to maximize the usable print area. Instead of ordering individual transfers per design, you fill a 22-inch-wide gang sheet with as many designs as you need — different sizes, quantities, and artwork all on one sheet. You pay for linear footage, so tightly packing your designs is the most cost-effective way to order custom DTF transfers.
All Transfer Hippo DTF gang sheets print on 22-inch-wide film. The length is variable — you build your sheet in our online Gang Sheet Builder and the total length and price update automatically as you add designs. There's no fixed sheet size; you only pay for the linear footage you actually fill.
Press custom DTF transfers at 290°F for 8–10 seconds with firm pressure. Let the transfer cool for 5–10 seconds, then warm peel from the corner. A second press for 3–5 seconds is optional for added durability and a smoother finish. Always test first, since heat presses can vary.
Custom DTF transfers bond to virtually any fabric — 100% cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, nylon, denim, canvas, and even leather. Unlike sublimation, which only works on high-polyester fabrics and light colors, DTF prints vibrant full-color designs on both light and dark garments regardless of fiber content. There's no pretreatment required.
When applied correctly at the right temperature and pressure, DTF transfers typically last 50+ wash cycles without significant fading or cracking. For best longevity, wash inside-out in cold water, tumble dry low, and avoid ironing directly on the print. Proper application — firm pressure, correct temp, full peel — is the biggest factor in durability.
Screen printing requires expensive setup (screens, films, ink mixing) per color and has high minimums — typically 24–48 pieces minimum per design to be cost-effective. DTF has zero setup fees and no minimums, making it far better for short runs, multi-color designs, or one-offs. Screen printing has a slight edge in ink hand-feel on high-volume single-color jobs, but DTF wins on flexibility, turnaround speed, and cost at low quantities.
Sublimation only works on white or light-colored polyester fabrics — the dye bonds with synthetic fibers and disappears on cotton or dark garments. DTF transfers work on any fabric color and any fiber content with no restrictions. For performance wear or all-over polyester printing, sublimation is competitive on cost at scale. For anything on cotton, blends, or dark garments, DTF is the only practical option of the two.
Upload PNG files with transparent backgrounds for best DTF printing results. If your artwork previews cleanly in the Gang Sheet Builder, you're good to go.
We aim for accurate, vibrant DTF transfer color, but exact matches can vary by monitor settings, artwork profiles, and garment color. If you need critical brand color matching, email us before ordering.
For best DTF printing results, avoid ultra-thin lines and tiny text. A safe rule is 1–2 pt minimum for fine details at print size. If it looks too thin in the Gang Sheet Builder preview, it'll likely print too thin.
Shipping for DTF transfer orders is calculated at checkout based on order total and destination. You'll see the cost before you pay — no surprises.
Not at this time (yet). Transfer Hippo currently ships custom DTF transfers within the lower 48 United States.
